Kingsbarns golf course is seven miles from St Andrews along the North Sea coastline. It’s in the top 100 golf courses in the world and the only Scottish course built on Links land in over 70 years! Most notably, it’s a co-host to the annual European Tour’s and shares only with the Old Course and Carnoustie Courses.
Kingsbarns Course hosts a gentle and wide fairway. It’s par three, 14th hole is a signature hole and is just above the sea waves. In addition, it offers beautiful views. However, it finishes with a hairsplitting 18th hole - especially tricky on a windy day!
The Fayre Clubhouse is within the golf-playing area for convenience and allows players to appreciate the impressive landscape. The clubhouse facilities include a golf shop, food and beverage lounge, locker rooms and restrooms. Also, the patio area and viewing balconies are the perfect places for spectators.
They have a great practice range just a short walk from the 1st tee, and complimentary balls are at hand for those playing. Finally, the Kingsbarns caddies are also very popular. Being independent and contracted caddies, booking is highly recommended. A personal caddie fee 2019 is £55 plus gratuity. A shared caddie of between two and four players is £80 plus gratuity.
