This year's programme highlights include:
Fri 25 Nov
6.30 - 7 pm. Beating the Retreat with the City of St. Andrews Pipe Band.
7.30 pm for 8 pm. Toppings Bookshop presents the legendary John Simpson launching his new book.
Sat 26 Nov
09.30 am St. Andrews Day Parkrun - Craigtoun Country Park.
11.30 - 1 pm Walking Tour with Virginia Fowler
2 pm - 6 pm Family Street Party, Market St. to include:
2-2.30 pm Caroline Gilmour - singer
2.45 pm - 3.15 pm Celter Schmelter, good-time klezmer music.
Street entertainers and local musicians will keep the party going throughout the afternoon
3.30 pm - 4.30 pm Skerryvore, Celtic Rockers
6 pm St Andrews Festive Lights switch-on.
6.30 - 7 pm Worlds largest Ceilidh, Market St.

Open Doors – notable local buildings such as the R & A Clubhouse open their doors to the public.

Events being covered by BID St. Andrews are a Santa’s Grotto in the Byre Theatre, the Land Train for the week prior to Xmas, a Christmas Catalogue, possible Carol Singing event with St. Andrews Voices and a Burns Festival in Jan 2017.
