Description
"A perfect Home base for touring the major attractions of the East of Scotland."
Whether you are visiting St Andrews for business or pleasure. Douglas and Yvonne aim to make your stay unforgettable, offering genuine Scottish hospitality in a magnificent setting.
Although we are still researching the origins of the property, it appears on an old map in Kellie Castle (NT) dated 1775. The house is a listed building and despite extensive renovation and refurbishment, the old facade is largely unaltered.
Edenside House is superbly situated in the country on the shore of the Eden Estuary, SSSI and local nature reserve.
The house is set back from the A91 road to St Andrews which is 2 1/2 miles away ( 5 minutes by car ).
If you are visiting the area to soak in the history or to play a little golf, advice is always at hand.
To make a firm reservation please note we need your cc details to hold your room only. Nothing is deducted from your card and you can pay as you wish on departure.

Testimonials
“A Warm Welcome"
Having been to many B&Bs and guest houses in the East Neuk of Fife, the Edenside is a hidden gem. Situated in a beautiful secluded area by the Eden (but still only 5 minutes from St Andrews town centre), the Edenside offers so much more than any town centre B&B. The scenery to the rear is absolutely stunning, with amazing views across the Eden Estuary. There is a beautiful garden area to the rear where you can sit and savour this incredible sight. Inside, you could not ask for more. We were made to feel like old friends. The room we were in was very well equipped, and had an extremely comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent, all you could hope for and more. We will definately be returning next year, hopefully sooner. If you are looking for a relaxing break (or golf holiday - the Edenside is just minutes from the Old Course) without the parking problems of a pokey town centre B&B, give Dougie a call. You won't regret it. We certainly don't.
