Ceres Highland Games - Sat 24 Jun
Ceres Highland Games
Ceres Highland Games are the oldest free games in Scotland, always held on the last Saturday of the month of June, every year (except for war) since the charter to hold the Games was given to the people of the village by Robert Bruce in 1314 in recognition of their support at the battle of Bannockburn.
A fantastic day out for the whole family, the games include bagpipes, kilts and all the usual outdoor pursuits.
This year’s games will be held on Sat 24 Jun and Ceres is just 20 mins from St. Andrews.
